For the first time in about five years I'm stuck in where to go for the summer. The options are really endless. If I wanted to, I could pack up my things and hitch hike across the country or rent out a studio apartment in Hawaii or Rome or Bangkok or .... anywhere. I could spend another summer with my sister and the sweet nieces and nephews I love. But is that what's really right for me?

I don't think so.

So for the first summer in what feels like forever, I've decided to go back to Arkansas. Work my butt off and spend humid months kayaking, hiking, camping, and generally enjoying the presence of my two best friends: my parents. So look forward to some shots of the Ozarks and some poetry inspired my mound building Natives and hill billy Arkansans.
