TURKEY AND POTATOES

The past few weeks have been insane with exams, moving apartments, and Thanksgiving. I love my new place. It gives me another taste of independence that I'm not ready for quite yet. My exams all went better than I had expected but when I consider how much studying I actually did, I should've done better. Oh well. Thanksgiving was fabulous. Spending time with family and friends and dates with promise. Mama sent me back home with leftover turkey and potatoes. I'd rather have taken my mama back to school with me instead. She always talks sense into me and tells me how to believe in myself when I'm about ready to give up and go live out of my car. I could say the same for my dad though. They're amazing parents who have a beautiful vision for what my life will be, but I'm stuck seeing that I'll graduate with a useless degree and be confused for a while.
