SONG

With my humid curly hair

walking around the state fair

looking for a reason to run away

sitting under this big oak's shade

I'll belong to you

you stormy skies blue

and the green ozark mountains

that always keep me grounded

with the winding rivers and icy winters

saying bye to fishy lakes

is my biggest heart break.

Leaving ain't for the weak

I'm driving to piney peaks

and this rear view mirror is blocked out

because this life is full of doubt

Skyscrapers and interstates

all the people here for a chase

A dirty valley full of claws

making me miss my Arkansas

I'll belong to you

you stormy skies blue

and the green ozark mountains

that always keep me grounded

with the winding rivers and icy winters

saying bye to fishy lake

is my biggest heart break.
